Mentorship Program
We know sobriety can be an arduous journey to face alone. That’s why The Solida Foundation includes mentorship as part of our two-pronged approach to helping addicts with recovery.
The Difference a Mentor Makes
Recovery from addiction is a long and difficult process, but it is possible with the right support. One of the most important things for someone in recovery is to have a mentor- someone who has been through the process and can offer guidance and advice. Without this support, people are much more likely to relapse. Studies have shown that people who have a mentor are significantly more likely to stay committed to their recovery than those who don’t. Mentors provide an invaluable source of support and encouragement and can make all the difference for someone who is struggling to stay sober.
The Solida Foundation Mentors
When people leave Residential Treatment it can be a very confusing and stressful situation. It’s really where the “Rubber meets the Road”. TSF provides a free Mentor that will help guide each client through real life situations. They will assist each client in a long term Treatment/Life plan that includes critical areas such as ongoing therapy, housing, employment, education and other necessary components consistent with Long Term Sobriety.
- Ongoing Therapy
- Housing
- Employment
- Education
- Weekly Check-ins
- Drug Testing
As a participant in the programs funded by recovery scholarships, there will be weekly check-ins to ensure you’re meeting your goals and staying committed to your sobriety. We want you to succeed, and we know that mentors play a big role in your recovery.
